Professional Live Betting Built on Experience, Data, and Discipline

I am a professional sports bettor with over 30 years of experience (1995) in the betting markets. My journey started at a time when access to information was limited, odds were less efficient, and learning came mostly from trial, error, and discipline. Over the years, I have analyzed thousands of matches every year, with a strong focus on live betting and in-play market behavior.

Throughout my career, I have tested and worked with almost every major betting approach, including sure bets, Fibonacci, Kelly Criterion, and progression systems. I began with arbitrage betting, later shifting my focus toward value betting and underdogs, where long-term profitability truly lies.

I have spent years studying betting forums, following professional traders, collaborating with mathematicians and statisticians, and exchanging ideas with experienced tipsters.

For more than two years, I also co-ran a live trading room, where a group of tipsters met daily for up to 10 hours to analyze matches, share information, and search for maximum expected value (EV) in every bet.

Experience, Losses, and Long-Term Growth

Like every serious bettor, my early years included losses—especially when information was scarce. However, quitting was never an option. Over time, I realized that betting success is not only about knowledge, but also about statistics, psychology, and discipline.

As I deepened my understanding of these areas, my results steadily improved. This led me to one core belief that defines my entire approach:

  • Sports betting is not a sprint — it is a marathon.
  • Money flows from the impatient to the patient.

The Psychology of a Tipster

A tipster’s life is a constant psychological battle — not only against the market, but against oneself.

There are days when everything goes smoothly, creating a dangerous sense of invincibility (“the God effect”), and days when heavy losses test emotional control. Mastering emotions is one of the most critical skills in betting.

After many years in the market, I believe I have learned to manage emotions effectively and apply reasonable money management (MM) even under pressure.

The Most Important Elements in Betting (My View)

Inspired by Maslow’s Pyramid, I break betting success into three key components:

  • 50% Psychology – emotional control, discipline, patience
  • 30% Knowledge – understanding markets, leagues, and statistics
  • 20% Money Management – bankroll protection and risk control

Why I Share My Tips Publicly

Every bettor is different. Some prefer complete isolation; I prefer transparency and accountability.
When I publish a bet, I naturally push myself to analyze deeper and be more precise. I know that every tip can be verified — there is no hiding, no pretending, no excuses. This pressure works positively for me.
Punter.live is not a signal service designed for blind copying. Think of it as a live betting diary, shared publicly. You decide whether to follow a bet or not.
This website does not provide investment advice.
Every user is responsible for their own decisions and results.
I strongly believe that using tips you cannot explain yourself is dangerous. However, observing how others think, analyze, and manage risk is one of the most effective ways to learn and improve long-term performance.

When Do I Bet?

  • Active on the market 7 days a week, usually from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM (CET)
  • Based in Europe

  • Some exposure to the Australian market, mainly Queensland leagues and A-League

  • A-League (Australia)
  • I am also in constant contact with tipster colleagues across different countries, exchanging insights and market observations.

What Do I Bet On?

99% football

1% basketball and volleyball
(Volleyball tips are shared by a trusted specialist)

Main Markets

  • Over / Under goals
  • Total yellow cards
  • Corner kick handicaps
  • Total corner kicks
  • Asian handicaps

I rarely play odds below 1.70.

My average odds are close to 2.00, though higher odds are also part of the strategy.

Bankroll & Money Management

  • Starting annual bankroll: 3,000 units

  • Full bankroll deposited at once

  • Average stake: ~3 units (slightly above 1% of bankroll)

  • Conservative approach compared to the common 2% per bet model

Many bettors struggle with discipline when holding large balances at bookmakers. Emotional decisions, rule-breaking, and chasing losses often follow. My approach is built specifically to avoid these traps.

How I Bet (Live Betting Strategy)

  • 2–7 units per event at odds 1.7–2.5
  • 1–2 units for odds above 2.5
  • Maximum exposure per event: 7 units

Example (Live Football Bet)
I might start with:

  • Over 0.75 goals in the first half at odds 1.80 (3 units)

As the match develops:

  • Add 2 units at improved odds (e.g. 2.30)
  • Later add 2 more units when the line shifts (e.g. Over 0.5 at 1.80)

This creates a strong position while keeping risk capped.
The maximum possible loss per event is predefined and controlled.
I focus mainly on:

  • Live betting
  • Single bets
  • Early profit taking or loss cutting

If I can hedge a position for 75–90% profit shortly after a goal, I often close the bet. Protecting profit is as important as finding value.
I occasionally use middles, especially in basketball totals.

Focus Games

Focus games are matches I am actively watching and analyzing live.

To maintain quality, I focus on a maximum of 3 matches at the same time.
